RBotM JANUARY 2017 OPEN MONTH

Welcome back to RBotM competition and hope everyone has had a Happy and Safe Christmas and New Year. Hopefully you have also been out riding, despite the weather and also tinkering or building in the shed (or front room) .
Nominations now open for January. No theme so a straight open month due to there also being a RPotM running alongside.
Usual rules apply - 1 nomination per member consisting of 2 photos max and a brief description with a link, if possible, to a build thread etc. You must own the bike and it not be for sale or if you don't own it, the owner must agree to the nomination before you post it.
The nominations will stay open until the last day of the month and then a poll will run for 5 days giving us a winner.
Full rules can be found in the Wiki section of the forum.
So lets start the year off with a bang!

Jamie

Re:

Right, I'll kick this off with my latest build.

King Frameworks cx called TwoFace

The frame is around 15 years old, but was refinished by the guy who made it for Bespoke Bristol last year, which is where I bought it.

Re:

I'll have a go with the Cougar I completed earlier this month... Ebay frameset with a 10 speed Campag Chorus build using parts of various age. I reckon it was first built in late 1994 or early 1995.

So far only done about 20 miles due to work committments and not wanting to take her out on heavily gritted roads. Those 20 miles were fast and fantastic... can't wait for the chance to get some big miles in.

The photos don't do her justice, my camera just can't cope with the fluoro orange and make it look burnt out. To the naked it eye it looks like she's on fire! Passed a couple of guys I know and had to stop for a chat after one of them shouted "Holy sh!t... what the hell are you riding!?!?!"

Re:

Well, not pristine but well my first build a few years ago.

It tried to kill me once after a dinner party  , though that might have been a little drinky as well

It's looking like another great month again :)
Frizzaldo, you make the cutoff no problem, nominations are open up to or close enough as possible to midnight on the last day of the month, quite often until the morning after ;)
JSH, nothings decided until the votes are counted and the populace has made its wishes heard :)
There's still time to enter
