RBotM - APRIL - OPEN Month - Nominations now open!

This month is a open/any type machine goes month.
Usual rules, nominations open until the end of the month then a poll for five days decides the winner.
Two pictures per entry, one entry per member with the full rules to be found in the Wiki section above.
Hopefully it will be another great month with some hard decisions at the end of it :)
Thanks and best of luck.

Jamie

Re:

Hi,

I'd like to add my almost retro Colnago C40 Lampre edition. Just rebuilt with Campag 10 speed Record groupset. Really happy with the way it's turned out and also the way it rides, superbly! enjoy!

Thanks,
Toby

Very nice bike Toby
… but a small discount for using a Shimano counter support in the right side on fully Campagnolo equipped bike.

To open a contest I will show a Colnago C40 too. But ist fron 2nd Gen - This is a Colnago C40 in the coulour scheme of the 1997/98 Procycling Team Casino-AG2R. Riders like Jacky Durant, Alexander Vinokurow and Olymipic Champ Pascal Richard has been connected with such a Teambike.

It comes with like the Teambike with the most controversial wheelset – the carbon made Spinergy rev-x. The group set has been a 9-speed Shimano Dura Ace 7700, the bar and and stem are from Italmanubri ITM and the rider take place on a yellow Selle San Marco ERA. It's one of my personally favourite saddle still now.

Now here enjoy the pics – further pics you can show athttp://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewto ... R#p2392759

1995 Brian Rourke

I'll throw something less exotic into the ring.... a Rourkie!
Frame is 1995 and I've built it with 97/97 Record Titanium 9 speed, 3TTT bars and stem, Chorus aero seatpost and a limited edition blue Brooks Swallow (please excuse the Speedplays although they are colour coded ;) )

If there was a "Team Irn Bru" - they should have a bike like this. However, it is made from 531c rather than girders :D

Looking good so far, already we have a classy selection.
I do like the Lampre Colnago as it is very similar to my Master Olympic frame ;)

Peugeot 753, Z Team colours. Built exactly how I was going to build the one I had back in 1989.
