So the topic as planned is
BROKEN BIKES

Simple rules.
It is about the picture, not the bike. Still a retro bike or part needs to be in it.

As it's designed to get you out there taking photos,

*Photo must be 'newly' taken for the contest or recently within the past month.

It is just for fun and it would be nice if you have a little bit of information about your picture.

Even better if you just take the Photo and don't play around with it in an editor other than a crop and straighten. (state if you have so we can learn what you can do)

Get out, get creative, have a laugh.
*Tell us where when and whatnots about your picture.

:-)
Topic for September will be 'Navigation', just as a heads up.

Would that fit the theme?

I "found" a Scott Pan American with a nearly complete m900 standing by the street with a paper attached to it. Paper was a notice for the garbage collection. The bike had obviously been standing outside for a looong time. I gave it some tlc after I took that photo. Even found a grain stockpile inside the shifter pods made by a mouse supposedly

Not sure if I've interpreted the requirements correctly, but feel free to exclude.
