Now taking nominations for the May 2014 Bike of The Month contest. This month's theme is Patina Special. What we want to see is fine old bicycles which wear marks of their years of hard use with honour. If you have found an apollo blizzard in the local canal please do not enter it.

Please see slightly updated rules here > http://www.retrobike.co.uk/wiki/BoTM_Rules , especially note the first. Useful if you can structure your nomination as follows
➡️ username's Year Manufacturer Model , e.g. John's 1990 Kona Lavadome
➡️ Image(s)
➡️ Finally please include a link to your machine in the relevant Reader's Bikes section. If you don't have an existing post now is the time to add one with as much detail as you like!
➡️ Limiting entries to 15 this month. When we have 15 the poll will go up.

The entries must either be a special or limited edition, ideally in the title to prevent argument. Go to work!

Re:

Hope that it is ok to post my "beater"?

JSO's 1986 Ritchey Ultra (Patina special) w/ old white Bullseye Hubs

Re:

Elite504's 1992 Factory Clearcoat Yeti Pro FRO.
I should enter the clearcoat Yeti Pro FRO. Almost by definition it has rustworms under the clear. You can see to the tarnished braze for the beaze-on's.
Clearcoat was a factory option in the early days. Saved weight with no paint!
