Hah, more fool me for being slack getting the poll up. That took ages. There will be mistakes so please let me know.

One user tried to enter two bikes (as it were). If you want to enter one please let me know which. Maybe just enter again would be my suggestion.

So, get voting. Let's try to keep things vaguely on topic and civil. However I fully expect to see some images of a cat / dog / naked old man by the end of page 1.

What a tough month, so many to choose from.
In the end though the salsa gets my vote.
Lovely retrobike example.

Very tricky month indeed. Brave gets my vote for being that something different. The burning question for me though is how tall is The History Man?! Do you need a little step up onto that Overbury's!?

Very tough month...

Here's my list:

Tigern's Klein: very, very nice. Even better in real life... but I do prefer something steel..
Rumpfy's Bontrager: damn that's clean..
mr_ship's Salsa: hubba hubba!
rocketboy2000's Brodie: wow, but why those tires?
Noka78's Rocky: Very nice, but it needs a black fork.
Dossa's Ridgeback: very clean, bit pale though
Sebastian's Gleiss: Lovely, but a bit too modern looking for me for a retro BOTM..
Jimi911's Stumpy: soooo nice, but please put some amberwalls on it!
Rampage's Al-Mega: love something colourfull, but what's up with that seatpost??

One bike in particular truly took me back - <wheezing, groaning, TARDIS noise> BANG, and I'm back in 1990 reading the Freewheel catalogue - so thanks for the memories, got my vote.

I don't think it's the best picture I've seen, but the Elgin just walks it for me: in terms of the build, enjoying the thread that followed it and, most importantly, the end result. I know it's not a purists machine at all but I love it.

Think it's also worth saying what a massively impressive line up it is though. Some really, really beautiful bikes - thoughtfully built and looking stunning.

Really torn this month. Some lovely exotica, and the Elgin is just sublime.

But because I know how it feels to finally get the bike you wanted so very badly BITD, despite it not being high-end...

Voted with my heart. All winners this month.

Some nice bikes this month, pity there can only be one 'winner...'
