My Claud Butler Circa 1949.Built as a fixed wheel.Bi laminated lugs.This style of lug was used on two of CB's models from that period.
South of France drop bars.Red Air lites on wolber rims.

excellent bagpuss, the red kit looks sweet but some period alloy guards would really work very well also... :)

Hmm.
I have a couple of pairs of full lenght alloy air weights made by Blummels{Both are NOS as well} . I had them set aside for other projects.I will offer a set up and see how they look.

Oh my word chaps, this will be difficult! Both those bikes are right up my street. Those hubs and lugs Bagpuss are special, are the hubs airlite? and is the anodising an addition? I know GB anodised their brakes in blue and red, definitely change for the alloy guards. I love the Flandria, solid, classic and workman like just like the riders, white or tan toe straps in my opinion.

The Airlites are Red from new . Blue also available.
Saw a NOS red sell for £190 last week!!
