Let's have those nominations, going to be a short month so we can run rBoTY. So get those bikes in

1949-50 Mauro Fossati with Campagnolo Paris Roubaix

This month I am including a rather different bike. From my research, I believe it dates from 1949-50. The frame was built by Mauro Fossati, who went on to become the mechanic for Fausto Coppi (on the Carpano-Coppi and Tricolfina-Coppi teams, see: http://www.comunenoviligure.gov.it/...?idArea=2059&idCat=1989&ID=6502#Mauro_Fossati

you can see more photos in the thread I have opened about this bike here and get a listing of the various components fitted: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=234104

Ok not done this before but would like to nominate my Bottecchia SLX circa 1990/91. The thread and discussions are here http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=233033
As mentioned in the thread, I recovered this from my old friend "Sheffield" after I gave it away in a fit of cycling depression. Its since been restored to its former glory and is a close as I can get it (sans Deltas!) to the original spec with my funds. Other images are in the thread above.

Ps Pedals under saddle....saves grief in a tight packed garage.
Very few frames track drop outs ever made,a few more with road drop outs made.
This is number 62 of this type of frame. forks are replacements, hence the lamp boss
Circa 1946/47.
