How is it ok? The rule is that the bike must be complete. I had a look at the last few years and the rule was complied with. The rule is easy to comply with and, on its face, it doesn't permit discretion.
Personally, I feel that if the objection is only been raised a day from the end, after near enough a week of voting, it's a little late in the day to be raising it - after all, it hasn't stopped people voting for it up to now.
I agree, the lack of pedals now shouldn't be an issue, daft raising it now, I chose between StarTrek's Fat, Tam's Clunker and Bushpig's Cunni' - I went for the Cunningham simply because I liked it the most, pedals didn't come into it either way.
edit ... and yes I did look at the vote before hand, almost always do, didn't influence me either, it's not like it is an election to put someone into power, it is meant to be fun.
