Why does your cro mega say 'al mega' on the side, and why is it made of aluminium?

You're safe to say that any bike that boasts a sticker that says 'designed in the USA' is invariably not made there.

As far as I remember the only alpine stars made in the US were the litespeed made Ti-megas.

The pedant in me feels compelled to remind everyone of BoTM rule number 8:

Two pictures per bike only.

I think the Cro-Mega is made in Taiwan too. Not sure about the Al Mega.
