A tough choice this month but it has to be the Battaglin for me, my dream bike!

I went for the Battaglin. I found this really difficult to separate this from the Panasonic as these are my two favourite bikes on here. The Battaglin has the edge as I can appreciate how difficult it is to locate the exact components for the ultimate build.

No not the actual bike, but a very very detailed replica of what Roche won the worlds on in 87'.

Roche told me he wished he kept some of his old bike, as now he sees the historic and sentimental value. I think one of Roche's bikes is in an Irish museum, but can't remember which one that is....!

Out of interest, Roche now keeps his sons race bikes so at least Nicholas has some memories to look back on in years to come.

Thanks to everyone that voted for my bike!

Mark.

I know the actual bike he crossed the finish line in Paris on was bought at a charity auction in Dublin some years later, rumour has it the woman in charge of Dunnes stores in Ireland bought it and kept it in a vault for safe keeping!! Your Battaglin is very impressive, hope you plan to ride it on dry sunny days!
