Why not? If you can't find something in the Shimano catalog from the past 30 years that gets your knickers in a twist, then you just don't dig on bikes. Go buy yourself a purple Paul derailleur and sit in the corner and think on exactly when it was your life took such a turn for the worst.

I don't buy shimano because I'm not one for (see the reasons in my first post) and they aren't cool.
I also choose not to buy Shimano out of principle.
I am against blood sports, so funding a company that makes tools for maiming and killing fish just doesn't pump my nads!
