So by my count, that’s 10, drawing from 5 countries; 1 Japanese, 1 Dutch, 2 British, 2 French & 4 Italian..... surely there’s a tidy German like a kalkhoff out there somewhere?
nah, how about an Aussie bike!
Not one of the the big brand names

Designed by and built in 1987 for the rider whose name is on the top tube.
Built in Adelaide, Australia with the paintwork and hand painted names being done in a garage in the suburb where I live.
Bob used this bike to win an Australian Masters Championship. His mission accomplished.
More about Bob's Vinco

Now that’s a cracking story.......

Re:

I’ll wheel this one out. It’s a 1987 Brian Rourke in 531 Pro in pretty much shop fresh condition. Benotto tape is original as are the cables. I had the wheels respoked as they were rusted chrome. It has a complete and unmarked C Record groupset although the eagle eyed will notice that the FD is SR (I guess that’s what the shop had available)
I bought it maybe 3 years ago from the original owner who claimed to have done no more than a couple of hundred miles in 30 years - it looks unridden. I have sourced a first gen C Record FD but it feels like I’m destroying the originality if I do it. Interesting too that it has the first Campag indexed 6 speed.

My 1999 Corima Cougar. Based around an Ex Team GB sprint frame... built to celebrate Boardmans hour record bike, just with different front end.
The only modern component are the look sprint bars. I have the Corima Manta bars... but they weirdly don't look right on this, so they are saved for a 1991 Thierry Marie prologue build, up next.
