Horseshoe V brake bracket wanted

Hi

Not sure how to describe what I want.

There is a bracket that fits behind the front forks, that has the bosses on so V brakes can be attached. The bracket is sort of horseshoe shaped.

Sorry I can't explain it any better, hope you can understand what I'm on about

Thank you

You know what I'm on about then :D

Yes you want a Mount to convert Calliper single bolt mount brakes to 'U' Brake Mount, for brakes like Dia Compe AD990's etc? It was a popular conversion kit just at the change over from Old-Mid School. I have a small collection of 80's BMX's, What you fitting it too?

I'm rebuilding a trike conversion, not a BMX.

It had a hub brake on the front wheel and a conventional side pull brake. But the wheel had had it, so I was told yo get hold of a mount was the next easiest thing to do

I understand that the front brake bracket incorporates the horn switch on the '55 model...does anyone have a spare that they would like to sell please?

Thanks, Steve
