Raleigh Grifter Good Condition

Regrettably, the Grifter is now up for sale.

I'm sure someone hear will be able to tell me what year it is, I know only that Its stickers say Grifter XL. I got it from my next door neighbour some years ago, It was her daughters from new.

It's not showroom condition, but very very good condition especially for a bike of this age. Some marks to paint from storage but very little in the way of chrome pitting.

The 3 speed sturmey is working great on a new cable, NOS tyres and pedals. The kickstand works fine, The handlebar pad is perfect. Saddle has only minor cracks in the padding and has no chunks missing. 70% of the chain guard remains.

Overall a beautiful bike to ride straight away, or could be restored to perfection with little work.
