This is my 1973 coventry eagle that i have just purchased. I'll post more pics when i have tidied it up.

Nice one, the sort of bike I might take on the club ride to wind my mates up :) what our dads used to ride :lol:

I have left my number with the local junk shop bloke for old bikes so hope to see a few like this soon.

I once had a red/maroon Coventry Eagle. It used to take about two or three months to get through a set of cotter pins on the steep Devon hills!

I reckon black mudguards and all black tyres and she's half way to fully sorted. Lush bike mate.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I agree i think black mud gaurds would look good on it. i might fit some in the future.
