Always liked the kafenback, nearly baught one to replace an aging touring bike, liked there understated looks, never knew they had flash paint jobs, hope the GF likes blue. Mudguards and rake with panniers will make commuting much nicer.

I'm building one for my wife at the moment, in the caramel and brown colour scheme.
It's currently 9 Speed 105 on drop bars, but I'm also getting a set of straight bars and shifters because she'd prefer this set-up for cross racing.
