Harry Quinn SWB Time Trial frame, almost complete in 70's TT style.

Bought the frame off it's original owner who picked it up from Quinns' in the late 70's.

TA 54 ring, 3TTT bars/stem, Campag Record.

Pretty Standard and unmolested!

Got a soft spot for British TT bikes from this period as it's what I remember from starting my cycling racing.

Also got an MKM Ultimate USWB from same era, nearly complete, will post pics if anyone interested.

Hi,

no it's the original enamel,it's certainly not perfect but nice and used.Got some yellow bindas and a regina chain to fit, need some period yellow outer cable to complete and tape, not too sure what to use, yellow or black cloth?

thats awesome, you must have been delighted when you found it

Universal cycle centre should be able to help you with the yellow outer

http://www.universalcyclecentre.co.uk/Genstock.htm

best to call rather than mail i find

personally i'd go for black bar tape,

great bike, i would'nt change a thing :D

Thanks Pistolpedro

Think you're right black cloth/black outer cable.

Lovely, just my sort of bike. I'm looking out for 70's/80's TT bikes.

I've got a reel of yellow outer (and orange as well). How much would you want? It's smooth surface, good quality. Not sure of price, how much is the normal retail these days?

Check out my MKM Ultimate on the Readers Bikes section -
