Haiti charity bike (vintage content)

I've been thinking about the disaster at Haiti. The situation's terrible there, and overnight seems to have got worse. They are still in trouble from the floods 18 months ago.

I know we're doing the paperclip bike, and that's good. But it might never get finished.

I want to give a good chunk of money, but things are pretty tight this month. So I'm going to build my 1954 Rudge fixed gear, yet another frame which I bought on impulse but never built up.

I'll then auction it with all proceeds going to the Disasters Emergency Committee. It might take a while, I don't know if I have a complete bike at the minute, but I'll try to finish it and put it up for sale next week.

Step one: tidy up the frame.

Top chap!

Give me a shout if you are short of anything, I will do my best to sort you out.

Likewise I have a load of bits I keep meaning to put up here as Karma, so will try sort this weekend and if you want out just let me know
