got this today, not sure of year, paint maybe new.. restocked with a mix of shimano rsx? and shimano 105 plus gipiemme front hub with campag rear on mavic rims, itm stem..ok i guess for the price i paid! if anyone knows what year the frame is it would be a help

I would hazard a guess that it's a late sixties, early seventies frame that's been renovated in the eighties. Lovely find.

yeah I got it for £150 so it was a nice deal..i'd been looking for a good holdsworth for a while,did a bit of research and i would say your right looks like a 1969 frame. I'm toying with restocking it with period parts..not sure what to do at the moment. not so keen on the rsx groupset, where does it stand in shimanos groups? i would really like to keep it vintage or go with modern campagnolo

RSX is below 105, entry level stuff. I'd certainly be tempted to swap for old Campag for some reason I'm picturing Victory or Triomphe on it...Nice frame and colour, Holdsworths were nice weren't they :wink:
