Front Rack: TA
Brakes: Mafac Racer with velo orange shoes and Matthauser pads.
Brake Rollers: Velo Orange
Handlebars: Grand Bois "Maes" I drilled to allow internal cable routing
Stem: Unknown Lugged British ?
Shifters: Dia Compe Silver
Front Derailleur: Campagnolo Record
Rear Derailleur: Campagnolo Nuovo Record with a cage swapped from a Campagnolo Rally Derailleur.
Brake Levers: Campagnolo Record
Seat Post: Campagnolo 2 Bolt
Saddle: Leather Cinelli Unicanitor
Freewheel: IRD 11-32 6 speed
Crankset: TA Pro 5 50-46-30
Chain: Regina Oro

the only original parts are the brake levers (though hoods replaced), headset, seatpost, saddle, pedals and toe clips

Looks good - like the paintwork on the frame as well.

What Mudguards are those?

DA - They are Honjo fenders.

What BB and axle length have you used with the TA cranks? I've just acquired a pair to put on my '58 Pennine and not sure what to do. Mind you, I'll be using them for a double and you've got triple.

I used an asymmetrical phil wood with campy taper. 115-118 works for a double, 120-121 for a triple

Perhaps you could have left the shifters down by your feet instead of putting them on the bar ends though!

Thanks for that. I was thinking around those lengths would be right but needed a confirmation from someone that's done it! I've actually sourced a possible supply for a couple of TA axles and cups so might be able to fit the real thing in due course.

As an update I took the bike out on Saturday to a wedding, as the wedding was for a cyclist couple and they wanted a group ride to the ceremony. As the reception ended a few of us decided to take a bottle of expensive burbon and climb the nearest peak to watch the sunset.





This is Hill 88, a peak in the Marin Headlands. Its just shy of 1000' at the peak in about a mile, starting at sea level. At the top there are the remnants of a former radar station for the nearby by Nike SAM site and gun turret.
