I like the fork, it's black like carbon but of course, is not as big so I am sure it is not. In fact, did you get it repainted?? It looks sharp.

I am NOT into fixed bikes but I think the Fixed Gear Gallery is a good place to bike watch, http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/ and in fact, put in a search to find out if anyone else has worked with your brand:

http://mdcclv.com/fgg.pl?string22=cresc ... =fix+me+up

It looks like a fair number and a few names from I'd believe your area of the world, another reason I like to go to that website because it attracts people from around the world.

Nice bicycle if it fits, so Crescent is a Swedish make?? Maybe Classic Rendez Vous has info on them as well.

Your Crescent is certainly in good shape. Thx. for sharing! Nice find.

http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/2005/mar/bjarke.htm This guys crescent is orange. 531, this is actually quite a nice bike I'd be sure.

http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/zippy.htm Does the bike scream "Peugeot" to anyone else looking at it. Guys in Boston, perhaps I'll find one of these some day.

Nice website mate.

I had to save the image at Classic Rendezvous for a Crescent ad.

Finnx, seeing you are from Finland you might be able to decipher this:
Crescent history in finnish
Short version: in the very beginning, it was actually an American bicycle brand manufactured by the Western Wheel Works in Chicago. Large numbers were imported to Sweden by the company Aktiebolaget Amerikansk Cycle Import Eli Pettersson & August Lindblad, beginning in 1897. In 1908 manufacturing moved to Sweden. The brand has switched owners and manufacturers a couple of times during the last century and is now owned by Cycleurope

The brand is still very much alive and is one of the major brands in the nordic countries.
I commute on a 1996 Crescent myself.
