I've posted this before but, inspired by John's Corsa Extra, here are some better photos of my 7-11 Eddy Merckx Corsa Extra.

Frame is SLX, groupset is full Shimano 600/Ultegra (at present) with very nice Mavic bars. For me though, as with a lot of Italian/Belgian frames, the devil is in the detail - brake bridge, engraving at the top of the seatstay and fork crown etc.

Needs DA

Great frame in a great colour scheme, think the 7-11 scheme is up there with the motorola scheme.

What year does it date to > http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=48046 . Interesting to see a few differences between this corsa extra and the two I own.

That's nice!

I always used to (& still do!!) fancy a Merckx frame in the Motorola colours, or 'retro-ed in Molteni orange.
