Retrobike Rider
Well I'll post as I go, this will be a slow build, but frameset acquired. From the frame number it appears to be manufactured January 1946.

The seagull poo lining has now been removed......

The plan is to ride LE to JOG next year when I'll be 60 and the bike will be 72. Hopefully my knees will still be up to riding it fixed.........

My mate is going to advise and provide parts. I was thinking of using the v nice modern-ish bits off my Condor, but he won't let me......probably a v good call...

Very wise! Get her dolled up with some appropriate vintage bits. I would argue some modern bits are fair game- 'classic looking' rims for example. Looking forward to seeing some progress :)

Me too......the "modern parts" on the Condor are mainly Campag, but I will be using modern 1950 / 60's wheels for example, whatever happens it'll need to be reliable....pictures will follow (in due course)....
