rBotM Winner
here comes a full MAVIC equipped TVT92 Carbone in the coulours of 1992 French RMO-Gitane Team. It's my first MAVIC equipped TVT92 retrobike. Such a bike had been ridden on uphill stages by the Team and was the weapon of the young French rising star Richard Virenque when he rode on 2nd stage of Tour de France 1992 from San Sebastian to Pau into his first Maillot Jeune during his first Grand Boucle. At the end of this Tour de France won by Miguel Indurain there was a new young French star on Climbing Heaven of Cycling.

The frame set wasn't an origin, it was resprayed by very much talented German painter - Decal has been made especially for this project by English graphic professional.

...now here some pics, from respraying ... to finalization of the Frame set together with the Gitane-R.M.O.- Jersey
an the beautiful Probike Replica...

yes indeed, but I know them and IO not forgotten them, but these riders has also a history with previous
Liberia-R.M.O. Team too. Especially my replica orientate at Richard Virenque's former bike (e.g. Selle Italia Turbomatic2 and
the MAVIC 451 components - esp. Charly Mottet more prefer the MAVIC 440 SSC items)

Thanks for compliments - but to complete the Replica I need the TVT Bandarole for the Origin Seat Post - someone have an idea where I can find such Bandarole?j

Re:

Don't forget the Madiot brothers too!

Lovely bike Thomas! One small thing though. Would the team have been using the 571 cassette hubs?
