The Huret Duopar on a 1975 Carlton Corsa

Finally was able to get hold of one of these sought after mechs at long last, at a not too silly price either. This is the all steel Eco version of about 1981, as opposed to the original 1975 titanium offering, its about 70g heavier, so what! Fitted it to my 10-speed Corsa with a 34 sprocket on the back, loaded up this machine will be a bit easier to move over some of the hills of Plymouth and Devon.

I binned loads of these mechs back in the dim and distant - no bugger wanted them!

Worth a mint now, and with a dedicated following too.

Cracking job there, that is lovely.
So how's the Duopar performing?

Best changing set up Ive ever had on this machine, now Im getting used to the slightly different 'feel' of the friction lever, its spot on. Smooth, silent and accurate...
