Another restored bike... I bought this bike here with intention to restore it quickly on a tight budget for a friend, but after close inspection I found a problem that asked for serious repair. There was crack in the place where steerer tube joins fork, so I sent the frame for repair and respray to Ellis Briggs. I received it a few days ago and built it up mostly with the parts that came with the bike.
The bike (at the moment) is built with mix of parts, Campagnolo Record gears, shifters, seatpost and Super Record crankset and headset. Shimano Dura-Ace brakes, with replacement Cane Creek hoods that have perfect fit for the brake levers. Zeus pedals. Wheels are Maillard 700 Mavic Open 4 CD. Cinelli steam and handlebar. I wrapped handlebar with leather and fitted some old saddle re-coverd with the same leather.
Bike came with very nice Ofmega crankset, but unfortunately bottom bracket spindle was toasted (it doesn't fit standard ISO spindle) and until I find replacement it will have Record crankset.
