Hi all this is my first build thread I hope you like it,

I found this old Raleigh whilst fishing on the bay this week http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Dyna-tech-roa ... 1835064730 after contacting the owner I snapped it up and got in the shed last night.

I didn,t know to much about the Dyna Tech but after doing a bit of research I found a 1990 catalogue in the RB Archives which gave me the spec list, however I don't think this is a 1990 model as it dosen't have the mono stay (can anyone shed any info on this model ?) the Frame number is quite cool B 170004 is it a MK2 ?.
After stripping the bike down I gave the frame a good clean and T-cut and apart from the usual Patina of scratches and chips some heavy the paint work and most of the decals where in good order :D

The Bicycle came with a mismatch of parts Scott Aero bars, campag chain set and front mech,105 headset, rear hub laced to open 4cd , and dual pull brake set and gear levers as well as a very nice cinelli 1R stem :D

After reading the spec list of the 1990 model I saw that they where all 6400 equipped and also could be supplied F&F only deal, with this in mind and of photos I've see of other non mono stay frames I came up with a plan to reset the bike to a factory spec or as close as…

(now to sort photos :? )

After going through the parts I had I came to the decision they weren't up to the build and this is where the Frame with no name comes into play, This has the correct bar and stem combo I think DT shifters, Brake levers, front mech, headset, cranks and a nice wheel set

Now I am having a delimma black hoods and saddle or white ????

I'm not sure whether to use the reflex's from the NNF (no name Frame) or use the open 4cd rim on the spare hub I have as I did also score this of the bay last night http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/311451500801? ... EBIDX%3AIT
Which mean I'll have 2 sets as I've already built a 6400/open4cd pair this week

Re:

Well that's coming together nicely.
Open4/6400 hubs all the way I think mate! Along with black hoods white tape and black saddle.
