Dynatech 500 (of sorts)

Dirt Disciple
I wanted a more modern bike to avoid putting too may miles on my Raleigh Record Sprint (not that I ride that much - up to 50miles at weekends).

I decided to go for something steel, but as light as possible on a budget - spotted the Dynatech 500 frame on ebay, also had just picked up some shod Bontranger wheels (ex Trek Lexa) with 10 speed cassette on ebay for £50 and went from there.

So we have:

Wheels (shod) 2740g Bontranger (from a Trek Lexa)
Frame + Headset 2600g Dynatech 500
Rear mech 250g Sora
Front Mech 80 g 105
Cranks + BB 900g Truative 48/34 + Shimano BB
Cassette 250g Deore XT 11-32 9 speed
Handlebars + stem 490g Oval Drops + Quill stem
Seat Post 220g ABR Mono 2 350mm - cut down to 250mm
Saddle 260g Charge Spoon? (Not got yet)
Brake Levers 496g Sora
Calipers 266g Tektro R580
Chain 300g HG73
Cables 200g Jagwire

Total Weight 9052g

After a hour or two - we have.

Postie didn't deliver the chain so that's it for today! Seems to be tipping the bathroom scales at a bit under 9kg, so finished weight should be around 9.1kg.

Question - handlebar tape - white or yellow (or black as the photos don't look too bad)?
