My new bike - Colnago Super 1991 bought on lfgss forum. I have 90's Athena grupset that I'm going to fit on it.

It was cheap. I've got a similar C96 that I use as a daily rider.

Looks allot neater but would have kept the white saddle white bar tape & gone with white hoods on the levers.

Thanks, was thinking the same, but considering the fact that it is going to be used daily in very nice London's weather white hoods/saddle/bar tape wouldn't look well after few days. I wanted to keep the cables white, but I didn't have white gear outers, so I went for all black.

Great upgrade with your groupset choice, Your bike looks great. I love Colnagos from this era, Buckler, Clas Ariostia, there was a lot of trade teams on these bikes back then.

Regards,

Pat
