After spent 'bout 2 years riding this old bianchi viewtopic.php?f=23&t=301578&p=2256893#p2256893 and after have understood all the features that i want for MY road-gravel bike, I've decided to ask to Dario Colombo of BICE (http://www.bicebicycles.com/) to made my new frameset!
it will be a long project and i hope to finished in early may...or in june, but I would show to you some photos of frame during building phase and the final results ;)

Why a layback post on a custom frame though?
I've request a 75° angle for the seattube... and the layback seatpost it's effectively like a "non-sense"...but it was one of my dream-pieces since I was at elementary school... so, after have found this for less than 30€ from a friend, I'll immediately bought it...but I have also a "normal" Elite inline in garage...
all my "official" bikes (RM slayer and Turner Nitrous from my signature) have Thomson Seatpost and stem...it's like a recognizing-element for me...
I'll decide for what will be better when i'll be able to built it entirely ;)
the next step will be the wheelset... at 95% they will be a pair of HopePro2Evo on ZTR Alpha340 rims...

You can't beat thomson components!
in my opinion they made the BEST aluminum seatpost and stem of everytime...
only the old syncros inline seatpost (1995-2001) is considerable at the same level...
