Just picked this up from a member on here to replace the Raleigh Quadra that was just too small for me. I was quite specific in what i wanted, it had to be Raleigh or Peugeot in 531 or better, 105 or better parts, 88 to 91 and had to be 22". This popped up at reasonable money and was less of a punt than a raleigh 531c on ebay so i made a deal and collected it on the way to baz77's for nye.
Spec is full hand brazed 531 frame and forks, 7s 105 champagne group and mavic rims.
Looks to be original except bars, bar tape, seat (which I have replaced with a period rolls) and pedals (none fitted so I have fitted spds). Its in really great condition for 24 years old and will be getting fitted with the 600 tricolour chainset I have from the quadra as I really dislike the 105 champagne one (will keep the original though). Hopefully get out on it this weekend and get some snaps too.

Nice purchase,

I had been thinking about this one myself. I do love the old pugs of this time (have a couple). Great colours and frame set up imho.
