I just picked this up yesterday, not quite sure what ive got..

It had a mixture of parts on it, some 105 'golden arrow' and a maillard wheelset.

The only mark is 'BCM' on the bottom bracket, which the internet tells me is bocama lugs. Or in this case bocama bottom bracket shell (and lugs?).

It reminds me of a raliegh competition or something like thst, especially the fork crowns and the lugs.

The brakes are recessed allen key type.

Thanks for any feedback.

Could it be a peugeot? Strange french sticker below the 531...

It had a campagnolo seatpost 27.2mm

Anyone?

Threading is standard, it had a 1980's shimano 105 headset and bottom bracket.

But i couldn't find any serial number, maybe i should have another look.

BCM is all i could find, and the unusual pump boss..

The sticker is 'airblok' - something about anti puncture inner tube, in french and eglish..

Im drawing a blank basically. Its a nice frame though, if the rust isn't too bad I'm gonna powdercoat it.

UPDATE:

I just got emailed by a guy on ebay (where I'm selling the frame), heres what he said:

"Nigel Dean cycles were built in the late 80's into the early nineties at their factory in Marsh Lane Barton upon Humber. My dad who owns a cycle shop knew Nigel very well and had a few frame sets built by Nigel's team . The photos that you have listed showing the rear stays and dropouts as well as the head lugs and fork crown are typical of a Nigel Dean 531 Competition model. I am 99 % sure that this is one of his frame sets."
