This frame just came into the shop. It is definitely something special but we can't seem to nail it down?

Any highly trained eyes here that can help identify it would be greatly appreciated. It came from a local collector that also couldn't identify?

The photo's I have found that look similar are that from the Look Hinault, or the La Vie Claire, for the back end/alloy "lugging." The front carbon lug is similar to the C40. I couldn't find anything with a brake bridge similar though.

We are stumped. It does have serial number T66o88, or potentially T55o88 etched under the rear brake boss.

Seat post size is 24.6

that's quite interesting , the tubing looks like carbon braided sock with the fibres less than perfectly straight but the external carbon head lug (with a calfee style flange) and all others internal alloy is very unique . are the fork blades alloy or steel ?

its definitely the same frame , but i would not bet the house on it being a peugeot , it looks VERY labour intensive and was probably contracted out to some french bloke
