I have finished building my Raleigh Pursuit. Until I can find some decals, that is ;)
The last item to be delivered today was the inner tubes.

Polished brake levers and bars

New bar tape

Polished brakes

The proper derailleur fitted

and after straightening the frame where it mounts, it is in line

Fairly uncomfortable saddle.

New wheels, freewheel 6 speed and new chain

New decals needed really

Some scratches on frame, but I can live with that.

I have yet to take it out for a test ride.
I have enjoyed rebuilding this bike and I look forward to the next one.

Anybody remembers the tv show Street Hawk? This bike reminds me of it. You did a great job. Lovely bike!

Thanks. I can just remember the show 'Street Hawk' with Jan Michael Vincent.
Why does the bike remind you of that.
I suppose it is a bit 'one colour', stealth mode.
I have still yet to take it out on a test ride. Been too windy here.

I guess you mix up Air Wolf with Street Hawk. :D
This is Street Hawk: http://youtu.be/CCItnKrXvMM
But of course i thought of that because of that cool stealth look of your bike.
Let me know how it rides From its look i'd say it must be faster than lightning.
Which would be great news since i have yet to finish my own Raleigh Scorpio.

Thanks for the memory reminder. lol. I remember street hawk, but when I mentioned it to my wife, whe said Jan Michael Vincent. I pictured him in Air Wolf.
I dont know what lights to fit to it. If I put the retro lights to match the year, it makes the bike heavy. LED's are very modern and can be small enough to be hidden (as stealth), but I will have to buy some, but this type are only just to be seen and not bright enough to see.

If you need lights to see they won't be seen anyway. It will be dark.

I have black lezyne femtos that are nice and subtle but stand out vis wise.

I was looking / watching a set of them on ebay. I like the look of them. The seller cancelled the auction with 1 day to go.
