very early Eddy Merckx + Campagnolo 50th anniversary

Here it is, the pride and joy of my collection!

This build is the result of two flea market finds. I decided to combine the best of both.

The frame is a very early Eddy Merckx frame from 1980. Should be from the first months of production. Signature seatstays, flat fork crown with the word "Eddy" and "Merckx", no tubing sticker yet,...
The frame is in very good condition but not perfect. Same goes for the 50th Anniversary group. It's complete, with the exception of the brake levers, hubs and toe-clips.

This bicycle was on display at the Stalen Ros exhibition in Ghent, last october.
