Olmo Competition Special

Flandria

Retro Guru
Hi all,

A while ago, I acquired a lovely Olmo Competition in my size. The last month, I've spent my free time by cleaning up and regreasing parts. Wasn't planning about opening a topic before the bike was finished, but couldn't resist today. These are some quick shots I made, hope you enjoy them.

Frame is an 60cm (my size) Olmo Competition, end 70's I guess. Full Campagnolo Record gruppo, with panthographed stem, seatpost, shifters, brake calipers, brake levers and cranks. Pedals are SL. Stem is a 1R early version, with the word logo. First time I applied Benotto tape by the way, turned out nice imo!

looks tremendous - can't be many of those about, especially is such great condition. Looking forward to seeing more of this...

At least all the Panto work is better than that Polish Butcher could achieve.

Any rider would look shabby in comparison sitting on that... me especially so. Is the wooden plug still in place, Flandria?

Absolutely lovely. Seems to have polished up nicely.

Is that the one that they auctioned in the second hand shop?
