Re: New to Foruim Raleigh Zenith 10

Welcome to the forum :)

Looks like a nice bike, I have always had a soft spot for Raleighs

Re: New to Foruim Raleigh Zenith 10

Thanks,

Purchased it off E Bay. It had sat in a garage for years. Needed a good clean, but it looks to be all original and not been messed with. I have replaced the two tyres.
Starting to get interested in Retro bikes, so this is all new to me.
It is a nice bike to ride.

Cheers :)

Thank you for the links . I had not seen these before. Both confirm that the bike is original and is dated 1984.

Many thanks

The frame number will give the date of manufacture of the frame :D

Under the Bottom bracket. first two letters are the place of manufacture and the month. the third digit is the year, in your case a "4" for 1984.

I too have the same bike, same colorway as well! great bike and a really solid frame, its pretty much bomb proof.
James.
