My birthday is coming up so my girlfriend bought me a new track frame. The seller said the guy he bought it off before restoring it said it was a german frame but he did not know the brand. From looking at the lugs and a bit of help from google, i think it might be a Gitane. But from what i read all Gitane bikes are french threaded and the seller says this is english threaded? Any help from the retrobike minds would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
