1975 Emperor Sport Time Trial

As promised on various other threads here at last is my recently completed 1970's Time Trial styled Emperor Sport.

As you can see it's obviously been resprayed at some stage of it's life and badged as a Woodrup, probably by a previous owner, Martin Wood, who's name appears on the Top Tube. I may change the paint scheme one day, but for now it stays.

You may need to click on the pictures and then click on the "+" symbol in the top left corner to see each pic in it's full resolution.

Another time travelling bike from the 70's.............sloping crown forks and the killer seat stays. Sheer class :D

Medale Do'r rims laced radial for the hard as nails TT rider and so much else :D Chainring is Campag with the inner cut off and drilled, the inner is the one that is stamped Campag.

Bet that beat the hour for a 25 a few times...............

Shaun

Many thanks for the great comments everyone!

Thanks for the advice on the chainring Shaun. Looking again at it closely you can make out the slightly different finish on the areas where the inner ring has been cut off. Whoever did it did a really good job though.

Might be a good time to start a thread to pull together all the old Time Trial machines. Mine, Finney's Harry Quinn and Old Ned's and my mate's MKM Ultimates are just four that immediately spring to mind. Just one pic and a link to the original thread would suffice.

Steve.

Hugely in favour of your idea - may just bring a few others out of the shed and help satisfy my fascination with 70's TT bikes :)

Your honour to start a thread of....

Very nice indeed so now get a 57 ring & drill the brakes calipers & levers aka engers style :)
