A new record for me- 2 days build including building and truing the wheels! This is for bimbling about with the missus who has the Raleigh Lenton I built a few months ago.

Frame: 531 maintubes, random NOS Raleigh (warranty replacement frame or factory sale frame maybe). Worksop serial number, so possibly a cancelled special order from some cycling Goliath!

Fork: Raleigh, made out of lead-filled girders I reckon. A pity as the frame is relatively light for its size

Headset: NOS Stronglight (normal bearings). Had to take it to a LBS to have the crown race milled as it is an unfinished frame.
Stem: Sakae, taken from an old Emmelle mountain bike
Handlebar: homemade bullbars cut myself from the drops of a Raleigh Pulsar. Chrome steel, roug, but then I didn't want to waste a decent bar on my experiment!
Bar Tape: Bontrager

Brake Levers/Brifters: Cane Creek aero bar ends
Brake Calipers: NOS Campagnolo Record
Brake Pads: Original Record pads
Brake Cables: Shimano

Shifters: Sturmey Archer thumb shifters
Front Derailleur: NA
Rear Derailleur: NA
Derailleur Cables: NA
Cassette: NA
Chain: KMC
Cranks: Sturmey Archer FCS70
Chainrings: 44
Bottom Bracket: Shimano UN55 (115mm)
Pedals: Cube mountan bike pedals

Rims: Mavic A 319
Hubs: Front- NOS 80's Campagnolo Chorus. Rear- SRF3 Sturmey Archer, 128mm spacing.
Hub Skewers: Front- Campagnolo. Rear- Sturmey Archer
Nipples: DT
Spokes: DT DB. Can't remember the length I got now. Used brass washers on the hubs.
Tyres: Michelin 25mm.
Tubes: Bontrager.

Saddle: Bontrager (not staying, just for testing). San Marco Rolls going on tomorrow.
Seatpost: Laprade 27.2mm.
Seatpost Binder: Rusty random from the bits box- maybe off a Raleigh Richmond.

Bottle Cage: NA

Having perused the threads on here, I now think the frame is an 80's Raleigh Rapide. I'd lve to change those bloody forks, as everything else is lovely on the frame.
