I have just purchased this bike after hearing an interesting story about its purchase.
This bike was bought around 10 years ago from an Cycle shop undergoing building work, my Uncle working there as an plasterer mentioned to the shop he fancied a cheap ladies bike. The store owner sold him this beauty - a 1992 Raleigh Dekota, Got it cheaply as remember its already 10 years old.... however roll on another 10 years and my Uncle told me about this bike sitting unused in his garage and offered it to me as his Wife was too scared to ride it.
Trust me this thing is new, If I draped a bit of cardboard over it and put the pedals in a bag it still would not look any newer
