HUGE thanks to Melvin for hooking me up with this frame and fork in the first place! It has taken me forever to complete due to a move, new job and marriage but it is coming together at last. I still need to hook up the derailleurs, shorten the chain and adjust the seat angle but it is awfully close. :D

Looks fantastic, the single pivot dura ace brakes really looks great on this bike.
Is it an ex-professional's bike? You don't see many of these around.

Regards,

Pat

Very nice, Darin :)

@cloonaghpat
Darin's Panasonic has a conventional serial number. The serial of an ex-teambike follows this notation: AB - Y - XX, where:
AB = initials of rider
Y = number of his bike for particular season
XX = the season/year
The same notation as used from the TI Raleigh years.

Love the clip, thanks for the info. on the serial numbers. I still have my old Panasonic Sportlife winter jacket from 23 years ago. IMO this was the classiest kit from that period and the Dura Ace 7400 groupset perfectly matched the Panasonic frame. I read somewhere that Panasonic Bicycles still offer this colour scheme. Maybe that info. is wrong or out of date.

Pat
