Rides like a dream, carbon has its place, just not in my life anymore

Thats really nice, a modern twist to a classic
Really smart looking machine and your component choice doesn't look out of place, it all sits very well to my eyes.
How does it ride?
Thanks for sharing

Genuinely rides like a dream :)

I was previously on a Specialized S-Works Tarmac and was worried the weight difference would be noticable (17 pounds versus 20 pounds) but if anything it feels faster and smoother.

It doesn't quite leap forward on steep climbs in the same way but the comfort and freshness I feel at the end of a ride are well worth that little compromise.

I still want to get a Thomson post (matching collar and cuffs), Conti Grand Prix skinwall tires and some Dura Ace QRs; aside from that she's perfect.

I was reading the other day that Pantanis bikes weighed 18.9 pounds so 20 pounds for my big bike doesn't seem so bad, light weight is very overrated.
