Yes - modern content - apologies...

I know nothing about modern road bikes except I've a hankering to buy one at the minute - I've enough retro road metal to salve those particular itches.

This Chain Reaction Vitus seems good value for £1500, with chunks of Dura Ace and Ultegra kit (and I like the colour ;-) ). Anyone know any better for the budget?

Proper sized gearing! Kelly still has a lot of input too, so retro inspired. I'm thinking of getting a modern bike too. I'm not sure my brain is ready for carbon so I might go down the titanium route.

That looks a good deal.

As an alternative option, I've just built up one of the Ridley Orion framesets Chain Reaction are selling with Fulcrum Racing Quattro wheels and full Campy Centaur black/red for about the same money.....

Photo was taken Crimbo day. It's now sporting matching red Look pedals.
