Retro Guru
new years project,
pictured on the return journey home ( a total of 8 trains that day)
mid 1970'3 Colnago Mexico, 1st gen Campagnolo Super Record, patented '77,
and drilled levers
I have the rest of the components , so will post a pic,
I'm going to renovate totally, as the frame set has been resprayed previously, and now has surface rust here and there, no corrosion though

A lot of potential, it will be great bike when you finish. That drilled and milled parts look nice. What colour will it be?

Mix of record / super record stuff milled and drilled............smack bang in the middle of my era :D

Will a magnet stick to the pedal spindles?

The frame looks a little newer than 77, not sure why though?

Nice :D

Shaun

thanks
the seat stay caps are hollow, so hence my assumption of era, I have two early 80's examples and the seat caps are ''capped'' and have colnago cut out
the rd is patented 77 super record, , 77 gruppo is like nuovo record apart from rd,fd,h/s, seat post and levers no?
