note, Eddy's de rosa had a pat 77 1st gen rd, he was meant to have won on it around that time, but the model on the wall has the '79 fd, the owner said he drove Eddy mad for a bike, he was given this, and had it renovated, so methinks the fd was mounted later

Interesting on the pictures of the Merckx frame that you say it's a De Rosa, but the drawings are a Colnago.

thats because the drawings are nothing to do with that bike,

Ah! so the black "super record" front mech was released after the rear SR mech as the catalogue lists a NR mech. Is that right?
