I had been holding off on doing anything to it until i had ridden it a bit to see if i liked how it rode. It rides great, i have the worlds heaviest bars and stem and it still felt good.

The bike is currently a frankenstein of all my parts bin and is a bit of a dog of a single speed, but it gets me to work and back everyday which is about 100 miles a week.

The plan is to put all period bits on, i was going to go full euro, but it depends what comes up at the right price, i am more than happy to have campag brakes and shimano transmission and a suntour crankset for instance.... just not campag frontmech and shimano rear or other cross breeds.

Going to restore it in a non-original colour and source some bits and bobs for it in the mean time i will include a list in my next post so it is easy to edit.

A guy in Australia sells some nice Raleigh frame transfers and the correct 531 decals too...

I've had many decals from this guy and they are excellent.

My last lot of decals arrived in six working days! Pretty quick from such a far place.
