Bought this yesterday. Fairly good condition, I intend to strip it and have it re-painted then fit it up wth some modern equipment.

To be honest it probably looks better in the pics, there are scratches all over and the transfers have faded, also if you look at the Top Tube there is a small dent, I don't know if restorers can do anything about these?

The componantry is in very good condition, will clean up mint as its only grease but the wheels are a bit pitted. It rides lovely, wanted an old falcon to modernise for a while as always rode falcon when I was younger, bought a Falcon Milk Race earlier in the year but its too good to use, its as new (see pic - even has tags) so it sits in the garage.

Wow do you own a bad one because thats stunning i am not sure which is the best as i like them both ,i would like a larger building because i am sure i would buy every Raleigh bike going ,any way nice bikes Brian.

You can have the dent filled if going for a respray, BUT, its only original once! :)
