So. The recycling center/ tip/ skip diving club was very fruitful this month. Havent seen good bikes this close together for a long time. Most gets crushed (at the other tip) or punted out to the crap dealers that have multiplied tenfold in the last 2 years.

Luckily and to explain to all, my local site is privately run so no shying behind non existent health & safety bullshit - its the full 're-use and recycle' bit of the current WEEE directive which actively encourages re-use. Non of this 'ooh we cant let you have that, its 'ealf n safty yer see' - the Government websites only seem to cover hazardous materials, cars and electricals. Everything else should be common sense.

Anyway, rant over. Heres what ebay's finest budget bits and a couple of hours can bag you:

The Sprint will be punted out for sale whereas the Ace is a comfortable keeper. Both need a few jobs finishing like cable ends etc. The Aces' wheels need new nipples and a freehub at some point. Might punt out the Sprints' original black wheels after a good clean and check over.
