Acquired a few weeks ago, not built yet but missing out on a Record groupset at the LBS yesterday prompted me to think further even if practical work may need to follow.

Would a 600 tricolor groupset be appropriate or should I be looking to 7400?

DA is superb but 600 Ultegra is perfectly serviceable and aesthetically a very smooth looking group.

Just the reassurance I need, particularly as the tricolour group doesn't have a home.

I'm not completely sure but thinking early 90s (and not only because that justifies the groupset!).

That is a fine looking frame.
It deserves Dura Ace, I would say.
